During the days when we waved goodbye to 2017, there were happy laughters and cheerful voices everywhere in Anqing Foreign Language School. On the afternoon of 28th December, at the Lecture Hall of the east campus, more than one thousand teachers and students from Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Section gathered together to attend the New Year’s Day Art Performance with the theme of ‘Happiness Illuminates Anqing Foreign Language School in 2018’.
To start with, the art show kicked off with the new year greetings from Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Lu Dan. The programs were rich in content with various forms, for instance, Huangmei opera, dancing, songs as well as cross talk and sketch contest, which was full of dense festive atmosphere.
On the other hand, students let their talent go wild to demonstrate themselves, combined their skills with intelligence and displayed the brightest moment on stage! Thus, the audience were intoxicated with thunderous applause. The art performance pushed the atmosphere to a new high, which added warmth to the chilly winter.
In summary, this brilliant art show was crowned with complete success, which not only fully showcased the elegant demeanor of Anqing Foreign Language School’s students, facilitated the construction of campus culture, but also presented the best new year gifts to all teachers and students.
